Reception Venues

The Restaurant:
Venue Hire $3000(minimum of 60 adults)

Okurukuru has a number of captivating features which we can offer to you for you Wedding.
As you enter our Foyer you will experiance our breath taking views of the ocean through our celing high windows and directly behind facing inland we have clear views of  the stunning Mt Taranaki.
The restaurant and mezzanine floor offers a selection of framed views from Oakura to the Sugar Loaf Islands; then moving out onto the spacious deck and enjoy
outstanding panoramic views from Cape Egmont to New Plymouth.

The restaurant offers generous table layouts to ensure seating for up to 100 people comfortably, with all tables being able to look out over the vineyard as well as take in the coastal scenery.
From this vantage point a commanding view of the vineyard is offered.
As part of our wedding package for the restaurant you will have exclusive use of the whole venue.
We cover the set up and breakdown of the room, including all table linen and linen napkins.  Also included is access to our dedicated wedding co-ordinator to assist you in the planning of your special day.

We can provide you with exclusivity to the venue from 10.00am on the day of the wedding
You can book a wedding rehearsal in the week prior to the wedding
Arrange to have decorations and the cake delivered on the day prior to the wedding
We can also supply you with a recommendations list full of local and from a far professionals in entertainment, flowers, photography and marriage celebrants.
We can be your onsite liaison between all the professional service providers
Co-ordinate for your reception (bridal entrance, speeches and toasts, cutting the cake etc)
We will pack up your decorations and gifts and store them for collection at your leisure.


The Tasman and Barrel Room:
(Room Set up fee $1500)

Our main Wedding reception venue the Tasman and barrel Room, can comfortably accomidate your wedding with up to 160 guests.
The Tasman Room offers natural lighting from its large 3 pannel sliding doors accompanied along with your own private lawn overlooking the Tasman Sea.
As part of our wedding package for the Barrel and Tasman Room you will have exclusive guidance from our very own dedicated wedding co-ordinator to assist you in the planning of your special day.
Also included to make your special day simply superb:
The use of Okurukuru grounds for your ceremony
We can provide you with exclusivity to the venue from 2.30pm to 5.30pm for your ceremony on the day of the wedding
