Confirmation - Wedding

The total amount anticipated of room hire for your private function with Okurukuru is requested to secure the date and room requested.  You are given 14 days from the time a tentative booking is made to provide the deposit amount to confirm your booking – after this time a tentative booking can be removed without consultation.

 All anticipated costs are requested to be paid in full 10 days prior to your special day.

Should you wish to cancel or amend the private room booked and confirmed the following penalties may apply.

Okurukurus cancellation policy is also requested to be signed.  Should you wish to cancel, a non refundable administration fee of $1000.00 applies.

Amendment to date 120+ days prior Full deposit is transferred to the date
Amendment to date 75+ days prior – Three quarters of the deposit is transferred
Amendment to date 75- days prior – Half of deposit is non transferable.
Any Amendment is subject to a $500.00 administration fee

Venue Guidelines (terms and conditions) and Payment options:

- A booking confirmation is full payment of either of the following venue hire fees, $2500.00 – Entire Venue, $1000.00 – Barrel & Tasman Rooms. This is requested to confirm the date of your wedding.    Tentative bookings are held for 2 weeks maximum, and may then be released without notification, if the room hire confirmation has not been received.  Okurukurus cancellation policy is also requested to be signed. 
- You must confirm guest numbers, beverages and food options at least 10 days before your function and no changes can be made after this. Please note you will be charged for the confirmed numbers of people booked on final confirmation. (This is due to ordering purposes and staff organization).
-  A signed event order form needs to be submitted with your confirmation of guest numbers and agrees to these terms and conditions again.
- Anticipated costs of your function are requested to be paid when confirmation of numbers (10 days in advance) an invoice will be issued for any other costs incurred on the day.
- Payment is to be made by, direct credit via Internet Banking.
- Included in the venue hire is the setting up of your function.  We set appropriate cutlery for your meal option. Other arrangements can be made upon your request and arrangement within reason.
- We require you to advise us of a table plan for your guests. We will assist you with positioning, you are welcome to provide name cards and a seating plan should you wish.
- Any damage or misuse of the property will be charged to you including but not limited to repair and cleaning fees as a direct result of your guest’s behaviour.
- Our Liquor license requires us to have all guests off the premises by 1am, therefore we encourage you to organise after event transport. We can advise you on taxi or bus companies if need be.  To assist with this requirement the bar closes at 12:30am.  We request that any entertainment provided by you personally is made aware of this and does not continue past 12:30am.
- CINNYBELLA Ltd (Okurukuru Winery) operates in conjunction with the Sale of Liquor Act 1989 and subsequent amendments – please note that this includes but is not limited to host responsibility and applies for all activities held at Okurukuru.  This may mean that staff will only service guests who approach the bar requesting drinks themselves.
- Due to health and safety requirements, please advise us of any persons requiring assistance in the case of an emergency ie: wheel-chairs, vision impaired etc…
